Anna Lures Britt Into the Woods, and Brook Lynn Is In *Hot* Water

It’s the Labor Day party! Brook Lynn asks Trina and Gio to sing for the family, since they couldn’t make it to the Cat’s Eye performance. And they’re both in! Emma, meanwhile, is helping Chase out in the kitchen, before Kai and Trina get there. He heard great things about Trina and Gio’s performance, but then they get into whether or not Brook Lynn saw Trina perform that night, ages back of the car accident. Chase learns his wife wasn’t there.

Alexis and Sonny Are Worried
Alex is having Sonny sign papers to dissolve his business partnership with Jason. There’s… a lot, but Alexis is thrilled. Then Rocco shows up to pick up lasagna for the party and Alexis asks him to look out for Scout when they’re back in school. Scout pops up and tells her grandma she can take care of herself.

Sonny pulls Rocco aside to take him to warn him that he and Drew don’t get along at all, so be careful. Alexis says much the same, but promises she won’t tell Drew. Just be careful Tracy doesn’t shove it in her dad’s face. Sonny finishes warning Rocco to be careful, and the kids head out. That gives Alexis the chance to go off on how much of a monster Drew is!

Martin Gives Drew What He Needs
Drew meets with Martin and makes it clear he’s not worried about Jack anymore. A WSB director has more important things to handle, so Drew will just stay down and all will be good! (Also, he’s dead, but Drew leaves that part out. Though we still aren’t sure who really killed him…) They get down to business and Martin breaks out the paperwork to get Drew the funds to outbid Sonny for Sidwell’s assets.

That handled, Drew goes to surprise Scout with tickets to the Chucks game. And surprise! Scouts not in her room! Luckily, Drew has her location on her phone and… “You’ll never believe where she is.”

Isaiah Has Bad News for Ava
Isaiah pulls off a tick from Ava, wondering how she ended up with it. It’s a Lone Star tick, which has never been reported in Port Charles. So how did Ava get it? “I wish I knew.” Isaiah has to send it to the CDC, which makes Ava panic. Lone Star ticks don’t carry Lyme Disease, but they do carry some bad stuff. Still, if the tick was on her less than 24 hours, the chances of her contracting anything are almost nil.

But… he needs to know where she got the tick so they can track it down and report to the CDC. Ava plays dumb, but that’s OK. They’ll just retrace her steps to figure out where she picked it up.

Anna Has a Plan for Britt
As Britt and Tristan discuss her being the town pariah (and taking the weekend off to be with Jason), Anna’s at the firing range, thinking back to her captivity. Jason walks up and taps her on the shoulder. She’s surprised he’s still training after leaving The Life, but, as Jason points out, his enemies probably don’t care if he’s a mobster or not.

Things are a bit awkward as Jason asks if Anna has Labor Day plans. She does not. But she does run out. She heads out into the woods, moves some shrubs and uncovers a container with some suspicious equipment. Next, Anna calls Britt, telling her she has information on Cassius. She drops a pin out by Mt. Emerson (which a surprised Britt repeats loudly enough for Tristan to overhear), and tells Britt to hurry over.

That’s when Jason shows up to pick up Britt, but Tristan tells him she left. Something about “Doing something for her mother,” and Mt. Emerson.

Chase Confronts Lucy
Jordan and Lucy both get to the Quartermaine party, with Tracy asking Jordan to keep a close eye on Drew at Aurora. And before Lucy can needle Tracy too much, Chase yanks her away for a chat.

Chase asks Lucy about Serena working at Deception, and moves right into who owns what shares. You know, since Brook Lynn gave Lucy her shares. So, Chase wonders, how did that come about? A little quid pro quo for Lucy lying to the PCPD? He warns Lucy, she could be in serious trouble, unless she amends her statement.

Brook Lynn Is Cornered
Gio and Trina figure out where to perform and she reassures him that she wants to do this. Trina runs off to grab something, so Brook Lynn checks in to be sure this is what Gio wants to do. It is. As they’re hugging, Lucy runs by, making her escape, followed by a furious Chase.

He pulls his wife into the kitchen and goes over the timeline the night of the accident. She was on 91 the same timeframe as the accident. Is she covering for someone in her family?? (So close, buddy.) Brook Lynn promises to explain everything when the house isn’t full of people. But Trina’s just outside listening to it all.

In the Show’s Final Moments
Jason calls Sonny to ask about his land in Mt. Emerson. He tells Jason about Anna wanting to buy a parcel of remote land, but she wants it to be a secret. Jason gets off the phone and calls Britt. And Drew starts pounding on Sonny’s door, demanding Scout!

Scout and Rocco are out by the water with Outback, enjoying one last swim and taking in the peace and quiet. “I feel like you’re the only one who actually sees me,” Scout says. He feels the same way. They kiss, as Outback’s off digging away in the woods…

Gio’s strumming on his guitar when Brook Lynn and Chase come back in and bring the mood down. Trina follows them and says she can’t do this. “When my father and Jordan crashed that night, were you the driver that left them there to die?” Everyone looks at Brook Lynn in horror.

Britt joins Anna, having ignored 7 calls from Jason. It’s fully dark, there’s a tarp on the ground, and Anna pulls out a gun.
