Mum Says Her 14-Month-Old Baby Is So Big She Already Wears Size Three Clothes
A young mum has revealed that her 14-month-old daughter is so large for her age that she’s already wearing size three clothing.
Kayla, who is just 5ft 2in and weighs around 110lbs (49kg), gave birth to her little girl in 2020. At the time, the baby weighed a healthy 7lbs 5.5oz. But the now-18-year-old says her daughter has been growing rapidly ever since—despite being fed exclusively on breast milk.
Sharing her story on TikTok, Kayla said she always assumed her baby would take after her. In one video, as she holds her daughter, she wrote:
“Me thinking my baby will always be super tiny like I was while I was pregnant.”
She then shows herself lifting her toddler—who at just over a year old is already nearly half her mum’s size. Kayla also explained that the baby gets her height from her father, who comes from a tall family.
In her caption, she wrote:
“Her dad’s side is tall and big so of course she’s just like them. Love her though!”
Kayla added that doctors and lactation consultants have reassured her that her daughter is perfectly healthy.
“I’ve gotten opinions from more than one doctor and lactation consultants, and they’ve said keep doing what I’m doing,” she said. “She refuses a lot of table food, so breast milk makes up for what she won’t eat. Some kids are just bigger.”
Many TikTok users rushed to support Kayla, praising her for focusing on her baby’s wellbeing rather than her size.
