Scotland is officially out of the World Cup

Scotland is officially out of the World Cup, after Croatia’s 2-1 win over Ghana tonight.
The party is over for the Tartan Army, as losses against Brazil and Morocco mean that Steve Clarke’s side cannot finish as one of the eight best third-placed teams that will reach the knockout stage.
Scotland’s first World Cup in 28 years started on a strong note, with a 1-0 win over Haiti.
However, the team were handed a reality check after a 1-0 loss to Morocco, followed by a 3-0 thumping by Brazil which left the Scots in third with a -3 goal difference.
Farewell Scotland, we’ll never forget the 6:30am bagpipes or statues covered in traffic cones 💔
